About Nenare
Nenare started with a question we couldn’t get over. Why does everyone have a full wardrobe and still wear the same six things? Those six things being the most expensive ones. They be the ones that survived the longest being worn properly, while the rest failed in the same predicable way. Pilled at the underarm, stretched out at the neck. It looks fine while you are sitting down and looks horrible the moment you stand up.
The reason being is how they were costed. If a piece is priced to be gone by the end of the season, nobody is spending more on the lining or the seam finishing. It’s doing it job when it wears on schedule.
So knowing this we built Nenare around the complete opposite of what other brands were doing. Fewer pieces, chosen slowly, made properly.
Our Mission
To make your wardrobe worth wearing. Every piece of clothing that gets put on our site for sale gets tested. We strive for every piece of ours you own to be very reliable, we are so confident in our product that you should be reaching for it on a Tuesday without thinking, and continue doing so three years later.
We set the bar high on ourselves, holding this one rule. If we wouldn’t be genuinely annoyed to hear a piece had come apart, it doesn't go on the site. It’s why some categories are still empty. We would rather leave a gap than fill it with something that isn’t up to par with our standards.
QUALITY AND CRAFTSMANSHIP
When it comes down to the things you can’t see in a photo. The fabric, it having enough height to hang instead of cling. Seam with enough allowance to move in. Linings seen in properyly rather than faced at the shoulder. Color that holds at the tenth wash.
And where we are the strictest at, is fit. Because that is where most brands cut the corner. They design a piece in one size and then simply just make it bigger for every other size, which is why some pieces look good in a small fit and fit badly in large. We check how each piece actually sits in every size we sell, and if it only work in one or two we simply just don't sell it.
Our vision
We want to be the site you check first when you shop for clothing, because you know you can trust us and already have a sense of what you’ll find and get.
And to accomplish that, It comes back to the six things. Most people can name the one dress they've had for years and still reach for, and it's almost never the most expensive thing they've owned. It fit, and it lasted.
That's what we're aiming at.
